I dye my hair always the week before getting a cut. I don't really care if people laugh behind my back, I think it looks natural and always dye it a shade lighter than my natural colour (I've only got a few greys at the side). I think it's silly that there seems to be a stigma among some about men dying their hair, if I feel I look better and have a bit more confidence, what's the problem?
That's the way to go to make it more natural and unnoticeable. It's very rarely that I notice if someone's got dyed hair because they do things correctly. There's one poor guy in his sixties who I sometimes see in my local supermarket and his hair is deep horse chestnut brown and it really does look like it comes out of a bottle. That's how not to do it and I kinda feel sorry for him.
