Samsung 55F8000

I saw one of these in my local Curry's last week and couldnt get over the picture quality. Whats baffling me is the way the picture was displayed - it looked almost 3D but clearly we were not wearing glasses and the shop assistant said it was the technology which was allowing it to display like that. He said it would do it with any regular TV program and the program currently playing (Harry Potter) was not a demo designed to show it off.

This picture looked almost 3D but it wasnt playing 3D because I wasnt wearing any glasses and had it of been 3D then the colours would have been all over the place.

Does anyone know how Samsung have managed this?

Its simply Samsung's flagship model in that way that Pana make there wt & dt range ( or if you still want plasma vt & zt ) , Sony market a w9 series as well .

Its how screens should be made -- with the highest possible graphics performance but there still has to be a range of models with lower performance at cheaper prices .
