Thank you. Seems to take so many of the elderly doesn't it. I often wonder how many people I know would still be here but for contracting this. Lost both my grandparents to Pneumonia too ......

I am now watching clips of him on the Web.....what a truly brilliant actor he was and what a loss to us all. God Bless.

His funeral procession is going to be great. Red flashing light on the hearse and then driving through supermarkets, changing rooms, going on a rollercoater and so on.

Finally stopping at the cemetary by crashing into some dustbins.

Love it. IMHO he`s up there with Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy as a comedy GREAT.

Sad news, my great-nan was a huge fan, and I'm one of the few people that liked Repossessed.

Leslie's comedy in Airplane/Naked Gun is unique and came somewhat out of the blue considering his serious roles before.

The Naked Gun films are very special as they are :):):):):)-many many many times over. It doesnt matter how down I am,the films transport me to a place that I can laugh!

    Thats a fantastic legacy.

Very sad news and i am great fan of his films.

I love all the films mentioned previously, but no one has mentioned 'Wrongfully Accused' which is right up there with the others.

I love The Naked gun films and loved him in Aeroplane. Very sad, he had a good innings though.

I'm devastated. One of my favourite actors.

Takes a lot of skill to deliver lines the way he does.

R.I.P Leslie. You'll live on through your amazing films my friend!

I wouldn't say that I "liked" the films like Repossessed, Spy Hard or Dracula Dead & Loving It overall, but Leslie Nielsen had that unique ability through his delivery of a line to lift average films into very watchable ones.

The Naked Gun films and Airplane are all time classics, but Leslie was great in even the lesser films.

I was going to post this sooner. But he wasn't dead then.

Strange that even in death he's making people smile. I doubt there could be a more fitting tribute to him.

I can't help smiling when I think of his performances, even at this sad time. That must be the best epitaph for a comic actor. RIP Leslie and thank you for creasing me up on many occasions. :)
