I have actually got the opening set of fixtures in front of me:

    Arsenal v Hull City
    Burnley v Aston Villa
    Crystal Palace v Liverpool
    Everton v QPR
    Manchester City v Swansea City
    Southampton v Manchester United
    Stoke City v Tottenham
    Sunderland v Chelsea
    West Bromwich Albion v Leciester
West Ham United v Newcastle United

    My predictions are:

Sky 1st/2nd/3rd picks: (Assuming champions at home and as strong a start as possible:)

    Manchester City v Swansea City
    Crystal Palace v Liverpool
    Southampton v Manchester United

    BT 4th pick:

Sunderland v Chelsea (quite a decent game for the 4th pick.)

    Sky 5th pick:

Sky will use a 5th pick this weekend for the opening game of the season. Stoke CIty v Tottenham will be the 5th pick.

I have to say its quite a decent weekend for TV picks with Burnley v Aston Villa (2 founder members as well as Burnley having just gone up against a big club in Aston Villa) WBA v Leciester (a West Midlands v East Midlands derby with Leciester having just gone up, and WBA having just appointed a new manager) and West Ham v Newcastle (two top 10 teams in terms of the TV audience.)

I know that I should have waited until 9:00am tomorrow, but I couldn't. Please forgive me!

you do write alot of rubbish dont u..

No more than some others in the thread. At least I have got an actual set of fixtures to base my TV picks on!

Yeah, I have made too much time on my hands, and made it up.

At least it is vaguely believeable though!

(Didn't actually take too much time for me to do. Once you realise the main things are to separate Arsenal and Tottenham, Newcastle and Sunderland, Manchester City and Manchester United, and Everton and Liverpool, almost any set of fixtures become vaguely believeable.) Probably took me longer to type this post, than to think of the fixtures!

    I don't believe you, I think they're real.

The season's been ruined for me now. Unsubscribing from all sports channels and never watching another game of football.

Well I just wanted to throw people off the scent after spilling out the fixtures on the forum. I do wonder if the Premier league will have another set of fixtures ready for tomorrow by 9am though. Racket I am sorry though if my leak has put you off, I just hope I'm not punished for this!

The thing is my made up fixtures probably still had several people picking their TV fixtures in the same way as I did, so the post was as valid as any other (i.e. not really valid at all until 9:00am tomorrow.)

Merseyside derby and North London derby are allegedly on the same matchdays this season.

Top two play each other in second gameweek.

    Midweek / BHs:

    Chelsea v Tottenham (Dec 3)
Man Utd v Newcastle (Dec 26)
    Tottenham v Chelsea (Jan 1)
    Liverpool v Tottenham (Feb 10)
    Chelsea v Everton (Feb 11)
Newcastle v Man Utd (Mar 4)

Two of the paired rounds BOTH fall in midweek / BHs. Not one top five game in these rounds as last season - BT will be disappointed.

Considering the date on that supposed Premier League website screenshot was Saturday 15th August... I would have thought people would have realised it was fake. Seems very few people realised the season starts on Saturday 16th...

    Arsenal-Tottenham and Liverpool-Everton on same rounds - Sep 27 and Feb 7.

I believe this is the only serious double header of the entire season.

In terms of TV games on the opening day, I'd predict (without thought about timeslots for now):

    Sky (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th picks)

    Newcastle v Man City
    Burnley v Chelsea
    Man Utd v Swansea
    West Ham v Spurs

    BT (4th pick)

    Liverpool v Southampton

You could possibly swap West Ham and Liverpool.

Provided Arsenal qualify for the CL, they'll be away from home after every CL group match except for Newcastle in December.

I'd remove that if I were you - fixture lists are covered by copyright and I doubt that DS has a licence to reproduce it verbatim like that.

Predicting TV games can be argued as fair use.

In terms of TV games on the opening day, I'd predict (without thought about timeslots for now):

    Sky (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th picks)

    Newcastle v Man City
    Burnley v Chelsea
    Man Utd v Swansea
    West Ham v Spurs

    BT (4th pick)

    Liverpool v Southampton

You could possibly swap West Ham and Liverpool.

i think sky will get liverpool in first week

Chelsea have to play Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Sunderland all away after their first four CL matchdays. Woof.
