I have the Xbox One Tv tuner, but wasn't aware it can stream channels.

It would be nice if they could turn it into a PVR, there was talk of that when it first came out

It was announced in August last year that PVR functionality would launch in 2016 in US, UK and Canada. Running out of time on that...

What happens when you switch to channel 226?

If that works then what happens when you switch to 245?

They've subsequently announced that the feature has been cancelled.

The ps3 could do that with play tv (from 2008) - add a 1tb drive and it made for a excellent entertainment device, until it spluttered around early 2013 following software updates (think Sony fixed it).

Fastest PVR you could use, shame MS can't do the same but I feel it could cause reliability issues (thought play tv was fine for me from dec 2008-jan 2013)
