The inside of my bedroom feel's like there are two Suns instead of one!
Kept on tossing and turning, and ended up falling asleep at 4:30am!
Slept in shorts and vest with the windows open, even then I was still sweating, could not get comfortable!

I slept well btw.
I was stuck to the sheets last night and was hour sleep hour awake because of the heat.
Didn't it occur to you to remove your clothes and sleep nekkid?
Me neither. The 4 x 500ml cans of Stella and bottle and half of wine probably helped.
When they build silent fans I'll be the happiest person on earth
What about the Spiders?
Bedroom windows open. Landing window open. Door open for throughdraught. Fan on.
Sweating buckets.
Oddly enough, whilst I get hot and my face sweats a lot whilst walking, once still, my body cools down quite quickly. So even on the hottest night, I never have any problem sleeping.
I did sleep last night, with the duvet half down, however.
I used to use it all the time in the Summer, till I read you can get pneumonia by doing this,
Not sure if its true or not?
Whoever told you that was probably thinking about the Legionnaire's disease (similar to pneumonia) which used to breed in large air con units. There's no chance whatever of getting anything from a fan.
Pneumonia is usually bacterial or viral, so I fail to see how a fan could cause you to become infected.
Very effective anti-whinging device. I commend it to the thread.
The birds usually wake up at exactly 4am near my bedroom!
What about 'em? They tend to lay their eggs in your ears rather than anywhere else.
It ain't summer yet.
I slept well, I was up til nearly 3 helping my best friend and then finally let myself fall asleep (had been fighting it since half 12) and then woke up a 3.40 but went back to sleep til my alarm at 7.20
Maybe you've got the menopause
