  Fantastic story.
  We had the best engineers in the world then and I for one was in awe of them .
  The training for engineers done by the IBA and the BBC in those days was fantastic .
  It help spawn a large industry in manufacturing in the UK of equipment that also evolved into related industry's .
  Nearly all gone now "sob".
  It was some of the fantastic technical puplications produced by both organizations that inspired me before I left school to go into the industry .
