GTA Vice City for me as well (you can include Vice City Stories as well)
It's a shame there was no custom soundtrack option for GTA IV.
I don't like the GTA IV soundtrack at all, the soundtrack consists mainly of rap and heavy dance tunes which I hate with a passion. Give me 80's and 90's pop songs anyday
Unfortunately the PS3 version of GTA IV will probably never get custom soundtracks, but on the Xbox 360 version you can always play your own music over the game from the Dashboard, but this interupts with the cut scenes in the game unofrtunately. Still great for the driving bits though

I'm sorry but that's an outright lie, did you look at the playlist for 2 minutes? Out of the 19 Radio Stations, only 2 are Rap, 1 Electronica and 1 Modern Alternative Rock (considered Dance Rock), other possible dance stations include 1 nu reggae and 1 latino station and then finally a disco station. That still leaves many other stations that fill up the rest that include Jazz, Eastern-Europe, Hardcore, Classic Rock, etc.
It's ok to say you don't like the music in the game, but please don't spread outright bullshit by saying it's full of Rap and Dance songs when it clearly is not.
Who can remember the Amstrad CPC-464 back in the day?
I used to have three games on there - I think one was called "Kane" (it was a long time ago so not sure) but the other two were called "Binky" and "Spellbound".
Spellbound had a really catchy soundtrack, well it was probably one song looped - I can remember it now - and it was like at least 15 years ago
Spyro: Gateway To Glimmer had some beautiflal soundtracks on it, produced by Stewart Copeland from The Police. The peaceful, calming music on the Summer Forest home level complete with soft sound effects and scenery makes it a perfect level, graphic and sound wise.
One the subject of GTA soundtracks, I get a lot of influence from what they got on the radio. GTA: VC developed my liking for 80s music in general. San Andreas got me into the "Alternative" sounds back in the day and the Rave music. As for GTA 4, I loved most of the stuff on Radio Broker and developed a liking for LCD Soundsystem.
Quite recently, I liked the electronic sound of Mirror's Edge and Fallout 3 for the early-mid 20th century sounds. Listening to the Pipboy while slaying Mirelurks never gets too boring. Then there's Rez, words cannot describe how awesome the Music is on that game.
Perfect music mixture from own CD's: Cradle of Filth and Dead Rising
I personally love the Summer Forest little tune. When you're next to the river in the first part and you look around at the beautifal scenery, it's fantastic. I'm such a sop but I just love little things like the scenery in video games and occasionally stop to look around at it all and take it in.

+1:)
Any old Nintendo game. Doesn't matter how bad the actual music is, as soon as i hear it i'm back in Snes days and loving it!
Blood Money on the Amiga had a wicked soundtrack, it's just a shame that it was so damn hard!
GTAs are obvious if you can't find a tune you like on one of them you are dead inside!
See above.
Found myself buying quite a few CDs from this soundtrack!

I've just bought Need for Speed: Undercover today and I really like its soundtrack.

War!.......never been so much fun!
Mutato Muzika (Who worked on the music for Crash 1-3, CTR and Jak & Daxter) were an awesome company.
I Totally agree, Then I'd have to say: Final Fantasy VII and Lemmings for the Mega Drive
