The shark in Jaws. I wanted him to eat everyone.

I wanted him to sprout a pair of legs and attack the people on the beach. Especially the mayor.

Artax from The NeverEnding Story. Cried my eyes out when I watched it for the first time.:(

Another vote for Artax. It destroyed me as a child.

Kids films dont take risks like this anymore.

Still recovering from the trauma of Bambi's mum! One thing it did was make me virulently anti hunting.

Another vote for the German Shepherd in 'I Am Legend'

    Particularly because
Will Smith's character had to kill her, himself
and then how sad and alone Will Smith's character is afterwards :cry::cry:

Oh yes that used to make me weep and that song at the end.

I agree with poster above about the retriever in Fly 2 and the people who have said Hazel Watership Down and Marley And Me.

I cry at any animal being killed or hurt in a film. I can watch people being hurt and killed and it rarely moves me but when it's an animal I cry for hours, even at the rabbits in Watership Down, and that's a bloomin' cartoon.

Hachi, I have never fully recovered from that movie. I didn't just cry, I was an emotional wreck. No movie has ever made me cry like that. I refuse to watch the Lion King as I'm afraid it will do the same. It's terrible I can watch humans die and not shed a tear, but an animal dies and I'm off.
