Will be interesting to see if any tardis destruction involves a new tardis set for the next series

the more moneys put into making it look "cinematic" the more money itll make in the states and the blu rays itll sell

if they go down the cheap sets, cheap actors route and make it look like a cheap uk show
itll never go beyond cult status in the states

Because Doctor Who has characters the audience embrace and care about, the show doesn't need to rely on any CGI effects unless it is vital to the story.

For instance the "Human Nature" 2 parter had hardly any CGI but because the story telling was strong the episodes were a huge success.

Budget cuts won't make much difference to the series and as the salaries of the actors, the costumes, the Tardis set, etc. has been established, the budget will reflect this.

Good story telling, believable chatacters and a damn good adventure is what we need. The effects to enhance the moment rather than just for the sake of it will make the series more enjoyable because the reveals will be more greatly anticipated.
