There must be a few jokes about the Northern OIrish water crisis. I do find it funny that it happened over christmas, with all the food eaten and no water to gulp/flush it down with!

The scots have send some bottled water i hear. Do they dare drink it?

Any politician dare to say...No water let them drink beer then

Maybe you'd like to go without water for 12 days as a lot of people here have, wouldn't be so funny then would it.

Mine was off from christmas eve, until last night, and with a small child to look after it's not a bit funny.

Jokes are supposed to be funny. This isn't.

I dont see anything funny about families not having water for the basics of life. It must be awful for them not being able to bathe, or flush a toilet, it is a big health hazard and I hope that it is sorted for them all soon.

I dont think it is a funny situation at all, nor I imagine do any of the families who are suffering and have had a ruined xmas because of it.

It must be horrendous for those poor people. It's very easy to find something funny when it doesn't affect you. The only people that have the moral right to joke about it are those poor people...I doubt they're laughing much though.:(

A disabled woman has no water since Christmas Eve and then falls ill on top of that....

Do you know something, I can't think of a punchline to my life, sorry.

Would that be as funny as the englanders water problems when 140,000 homes had no water for 2 weeks due to a few showers of rain, perhaps they could drink cider. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aKWLp35hxJSg&refer=home

Maybe it doesn't happen frequently enough in that area for people to get used to it. One of the last times Tewkesbury flooded they held a bit of a gig outside a pub.

When our water was cut off a while ago due to a burst water main in the road right outside, I was whingeing about not being able to shower. Then I left the building, walked out of the drive and got showered head to foot by a rather careless driver.

That was bloody funny, I have to admit.

A Catholic, a Protestant and a Buddhist walk into a watering hole ... Stop me if you've heard it before.

Oh, you have? Oh well, that's the only Northern Irish water crisis joke I know. Never mind.

Yep. Takes a real sad bastard to laugh at the misfortune of others.

Haha yeah super funny! We were lucky enough to have our water back within 2 days but some people haven't had any for over a week, some of them families with small children and elderly people. What a laugh indeed!
