Broadway theatres dimmed their light at curtain time to honour Paul Newman, who died last week ages 83. The Oscar winning actor best known for films such as The Sting, appeared in 5 Broadway shows, debuting in 1953 in William Inge's Picnic.
The Broadway League, trade group for theatres said it, "mourns the loss of Paul Newman, actor, director and philanthropist".

This is an honour given only to Legend's like Lord Olivier, Vivien Leigh, and Katharine Hepburn, and certainly no less deserved. :)
