    It stops them eating

These days it is either obesity or smoking - so many ex smokers put on weight

If you are unlucky then you are both obese and smoke

My mate gave up smoking and put on five stone, started smoking again and is still five stone overweight.

8 smokers in there and 4 non smokers as far as I can remember.

    Luisa smokes also

I have to admit I was surprised to see that Sam smokes thought she'd be the clean type.

I was too. Also Lionel for someone whose body has been his living you would have thought he would take care of it. He has been lucky to reach his age and apparent level of fitness despite the ****.

Another person being judgmental about smokers.

I'm not a smoker and you don't see me acting like a snob towards them.

They aren't dirty bad people you know.

Seriously where has this "smokers are horrible" attitude come from ? They get more abuse then alcoholics and drug pushers these days.

No but all their clothes, hair and breath are in there stinking the place out.

I was amazed at how bad I smelt before I quit! I was in denial about it and was unable to notice how horrible it really is.

There's always at least one judgemental 'holier than thou' ex-smoker on a thread like this. (Where's that roll eyes smiley gone!)

I'm an ex-smoker but I don't feel the need to tell others how to live their lives.

Most of them are probably social smokers who have started smoking heavily in the house due to boredom and lack of anything else to do.

Yes, that's what I would be like if I were in the house.

I don't smoke often, usually only one or two a week when out with friends who smoke. It's something I enjoy doing but don't feel the need to do all the time.

But if I were bored, in a group with others who smoke, I'm sure I'd indulge more frequently. Another reason would be because I like being outside (even in the cold weather!) and there's nowhere to go except the garden, where you'd inevitably end up in the smoking area, and be tempted to light up.

The worst protesters are those who act as though their rights are infringed because they don't like a "smell". I have seen this happen in a street.>:(
And don't even get me started about people who actually smoke that have parties in winter and ask smokers to "stand outside" in the cold

No, not holier than thou. I'm stating a fact that I used to stink of ****.

Explain to me where I have told 'others how to live their lives'.
