It's pure speculation but, ugh, they thought splitting Glee between two locations was a ground breaking idea so maybe this is their next big idea...

Well that would be one way of solving the problem that most of their cast look older than teenagers/first year college students...

Not that I approve though, it hasn't worked well for other shows before! Wetpaint's not that reliable a source though, and if it's just speculation then it may well not come true. I thought the tease related to the possibility of

having the first half of the season all in McKinley to tie that all up, then moving on to the graduates after the hiatus.

Don't like that idea either though!

Regardless of what happens we have to be aware that this is Glee and this is speculation pre-season. Sunshine isn't going to be in every episode and Season 4 isn't going to be the most revolutionary thing that will change the course of history or however they hyped up New York AND McKinley...

I've heard rumors of splitting the show into first half McKinley and second half Grad/New York but who knows really. I still believe they can fix the storytelling mess that they are but that might just be naive of me...

I would assume you mean have a "New York spin off" and then have Quinn, Mercedes, Mike etc fill the place of what was Rachel, Kurt and Santana as the alternative story...

...because quite simply there isn't a hope in hell that the adventures of Marley and the gang could hold my attention exclusively on their own (certainly not written as they are at the moment (perhaps more time of their own would help that)).

I'd wind up becoming a fan of "New York Cit-Glee" and probably continue to watch "Glee" out of obligation and nothing more.

At this stage there's no knowing what's going to happen but I personally hate the idea of the first half being McKinley only, particularly as it sounds like we'll only get New York once all the other graduates have joined that arc - I like the mix of characters there as it is and don't really want to see them joined by others that don't really fit as well.

Besides if we don't get New York scenes until the second half and there's supposedly a long hiatus, then it could be almost a year before we actually get to see that part of show. I'm already feeling quite uninterested in the show as it is and can't see myself caring enough to tune again in a years time. Last year's finale may have infuriated me but I was still intrigued as to what was going to happen - now I just feel like I have no enthusiasm for the show left.

I've been half expecting a time jump, so I'm not really surprised that its being tipped to happen. I actually wouldn't mind it that much. I feel like they were risking getting ahead of themselves with Rachel's story, but they obviously want to show her having her happy ever after ending, so I guess its more realistic if they do a time jump. Plus, they can scrap the awful McKinley scenes, but still keep a few of the new characters if they want to do so!

I actually don't completely hate the idea, personally!

But there are still (at least) two more seasons...so I don't see the benefit of the rumoured spoilers. They should carry on as they are for now.

It wouldn't be the first show to time jump then still have multiple seasons - One Tree Hill springs to mind!

I don't see the benefit of it for Rachel's story though, there's only so long they could spend with her as a struggling actress/chorus girl. And they can't really show her getting a big Broadway lead part until the very end - they surely won't end this show any other way than Rachel making her Broadway debut in a lead role or winning a Tony award, neither of which would be storylines that would happen before the latter half of the final season, whenever that may be.

WHAAAAAAAAAT. His dreadlocks were his USP, and now he looks so ordinary. I think it means bye bye Joe too especially where it says in the article he wants more mainstream roles aka he's auditioning for other shows/films. I don't mind that he's gone, if he does go. I hope next season on Glee, they'll go back to the cliques so there will be more cheerleaders, football players, nerds etc that can join but also hate each other. It's all too friendly atm especially now Kitty is bff's with them all.

Season 6 could possibly be the final season (if the ratings don't pick up) and since Season 5 is going to be a continuation of Season 4's school year then S6 will only be Rachel's second year at college so it'd be odd for Glee to end whilst she's still in college so if they're doing the spoiler, it'll pprobably be done so that she'll have her dream role on broadway after college ends and it will be shown.

I agree about the cliques, but I don't see any problem with Kitty. It's just the same as the unholy trinity joining, Santana and Brittany have been cheerleaders almost the entire time they were there and yeah they didn't always get on with everyone, well Santana didn't, but she was still friends with them.. Just in the way that you love to hate each other. But then, they couldn't really repeat the same things and if they want Kitty to be in Glee - personally i think she's too talented not to be, she's the only one at mckinely I like - then she'd really have to be friend with her.
