 at those pictures. It doesn't even look like him, his face is that badly battered and bruised. I know we don't know all that went on, but that just looks like OM went to town on GA's face!

Dreadful injuries - both eyes and lips busted means he must have been punched very hard at least three times, I can't see that as being restraining or a citizen arrest by any means.

I don't know how international law work with regards to men who inflict violence - but I'm guessing if GA is deported to Canada and OM is deported to France - custody may be granted soley to Halle...who will then take her to live in France...bingo:rolleyes:

Poor Gabriel. I would tend to his wounds.

His right looks just awful. I notice he has no marks on his knuckles/hands either. I'm not sure how he was the one arrested for battery?!

This whole custody battle has turned so horrible I don't think anyone in this group is good for the little girl.

How so? Gabriel is just trying to be a good, present dad.

    Loooool

Also Halle is not coming well out of this imo. It seems her and her new man are trying to take the girl away from her dad.

To be fair, I have no clue what is going on, I just think the whole public custody battle is not good for the little girl.

She better be very careful, if your personal life overshadows your career in Hollywood, your career will soon be on the slide, ask Cruise, Gibson etc.

Now and in the future. At some point in a few years, she will see the injuries her father has sustained at the hands of a step-parent and no matter what the circumstances, if she loves her father, it will be extremely unsettling for her.

None of us do, I think some people need to remind themselves of that sometimes. (Not finger pointing at anyone on here by the way!)

Berry doesn't seem a particularly nice person - I remember her trying to distance Aubry from Nahla's life after they split, referencing the (racist) one drop rule to say that her daughter was black (and insinuating she needed culturally to be with her black parent.) Martinez dumped Kylie while she was recovering from cancer. And Aubry attacked his daughters nanny, I don't know whether that was in Nahla's presence or not. What a lovely group of people.

But I don't like the way Halle Berry is being demonised and Aubry is being turned into Archangel Gabriel/living Athena poster:D

Perhaps we can assume that she doesn't have very good taste in men ;)

What a debacle. The cheek of OM to try and paint himself on the side of the law by issuing a citizen's arrest after what clearly looks like a frenzied attack on GA, with him as the perpetrator. The hell was he doing in the middle of a custodial drop off anyway? Sticking his two pennies to goad it would seem. Perfect set up for a 'fight' with clever legal manouerving (pre-emptive arrests and restraining orders) that somehow manages to make the man with broken ribs appear the aggressor and all of HB's media fed accusations in the past conveniently coming to play. Looking at the state of GA's re-arranged face, you would think he was jumped by a gang of mobsters and not a participant in some Frenchie dual.

OM clearly chomping at the bit to get back to France with his ready-made family, so why not take it all out on the guy who's making sure that can't happen and then making yourself out to be some protective vigilante? LMAO. The quickness of HB to wade in with another trumped up restraining order to show the world just what a danger the father of her child is while he’s off getting stitches from having his face smashed in concrete – with the added PR touch of being escorted by armed guards – beggars belief.

I’ll never understand how she has gone from singing GA’s on Oprah pre-child, about how’s he’s full of honour and integrity, to preaching about him being the right man to father her child post break up
“And while it was not a love connection for us, he was absolutely the right person to have this child with because she is going to have an amazing father”

to suddenly making insidious implications about child abuse and racial slurs. All because he wanted to be formally recognized on his child’s birth certificate and she met a new bit on the side that just so happened to want to live elsewhere?? What a damn mess.

Exactly. I don't think any of them are nice people at all, and I think none of them think of the little child in the middle of this all.

Simple - it's because the shallow, conceited madam has form when it comes to demonising her exes. Clearly Aubry is no angel and probably lacks depth, but Berry chose him purely for his looks/genes to father her child...thus she has no right to deny the child the emotional connection to her father she enjoys and needs. You can't have your cake and eat it.

I have a feeling we're witnessing Berry digging her own grave here: when commitment-phobe OM gets bored and decides to move on after all the excitement, no one will listen to whatever it is she decides to bleat about OM and GA will enjoy a heavy dose of Schadenfreude. She's determined to get her own way to the detriment of her daughter, common sense and common decency. As for her Hollywood career, well...

So, yeah, I'm siding with Aubry on this...even if he is a douchebag.;)

Pretty much this. I don't care how Aubry is in his private life. But he seems to be a devoted father, whilst his ex tries everything she can to detach him from his daughter. This is enough for me to side with him. End of the story.

seems strange that they didn't do it in hospital at the time:rolleyes: call me cynical but his hand looks ok on the way into the medical centre (I know it is hard to tell from pics)

Gabriel seems to win most of his court cases when you think about it, glad the judge saw sense again this time

When I first saw the pics, I thought it was for a domestic violence campaign. I didn't even recognise him.

I hope he gets full custody. How can she let someone like Martinez around her daughter??

Martinez is not ageing well, is he? Maybe he should borrow some of Kylie's botox!

DM got the story wrong:rolleyes: but have now updated it. Basically Gabriel didn't manage to overturn ban on seeing his daughter & it will be reviewed again Thursday

That makes sense, after seeing Gabrielle's face, I'd be scared of him.

Where did you read that downtonfan, is there a link?

I don't get why he has to stay away from his own daughter, yet OM is allowed to live in the same house as her?

In a way, it might be a good thing that Nahla isn't allowed to see her dad, as at least she can't see him with all the bruises and cuts to his face.

Given the handiwork he carried out on her dad's face, I'm not surprised.

I think there should be concerns about Olivier being around the poor kid, not Gabriel.

Halle certainly seems to be no stranger to manipulating a situation, playing the blokes off against one another.
