They are such cheap looking crap.

I bought the first one, and won't be buying any more. Awful, overpriced rubbish.

I just shoved it in my drawer and left it. Shame, I was exited for it.

    Davros arrived today..

    And the Cyber Controller.

    Issues 2 and 3.

    And a Binder.

My cat has commandeered the empty box they arrived in, and is ripping it to shreds.

    Happy days.

I haven't had a good look yet, but maybe the first figure would be the worst, highest print run and probably rushed to meet the deadline.

Anyhoo, it's just a bit of fun.

I think they look pretty good, certainly not cheap looking crap imo, maybe it's pot luck on the painter you get but the 3 I've received so far are quite well done. :)

Is it just mine or does the cyber planner look slanted and its brain holder coming off slightly?

There is a very slight gap, you're right.

Maybe we're supposed to lift it up and lick the brain? :p

Having seen Davros and the Cyber chap, I must admit I am happy.

Bonus that I/we get 2 issues a month, in the first week of the month.

The paint/weight/detail is much better on these later models, if that really matters.

£16 a month, while a bit of a gip, is probably my smallest Direct Debit.

Equivalent to 3 or 4 pints in the pub. And I don't go the pub very often..

Davros I'm really happy with but the Cyber controller is a different story. It is like 100 different shades of grey with a gap in its brain holder. Plus it looks slightly slanted :(. I am looking forward to the classic Cybermen tho

    100 Shades of Grey?

If it was 50% of that, you might have a best seller on your hands :D

I got Davros today, it is a huge step up from the first figure. I'm still unsure about subscribing as I always like to look at what I'm buying before I buy it, but I would quite like the exclusive Dalek collection that you get with the premium subscription.

I got my first issue through the post this morning. Thought you were supposed to be able to download the magazine to kindle or something

When does the next package arrive?

I got a parcel today, and was kinda disappointed it wasn't issues 4 and 5.

And let's be truthful about the 'magazine' that comes with the figure; it's just a brochure, a window into a character or episode(s).

Nothing to see for the long-time fan.

But as for the figurines, the three so far are kinda lonely, sitting atop one of my bookshelves..;)

So. 10th October. Issue 4 is in Asda.

    Where is my Issue 4?

This is no fun, half the point about subscribing to anything is being slightly evil because you get it first..:D

I was disappointed when I got home to find I missed issues 4 and 5 and have to wait till tomorrow to collect them :(. I wish these came more often like 1 every two weeks instead of 2 every 4 weeks .

Between this stuff and all the ebay items I've been buying, I'm getting to know the staff at the depot quite well.

There is something endearingly Soviet about the postal service; press a bell and a Comrade will appear in the next 8-10 minutes, with a full Hall & Oates mullet.

Picked up the box this morning. Weeping Angel and Silurian.

There's a pic of the production team's first effort at the new design of the Silurians, and I wish they'd used it in the show.

Also the first plinth was in the package; it's pretty heavy, would make a good door-stop.

Dalek and Sontaran came today, they are the best yet absolutely beautiful. Has any received an email about the limited edition TARDIS yet as I'm getting alittle worried?

    TARDIS?

I thought the Dalek Emperor was due soon?

The figs are looking quite cool on the bookshelf, back-lit.

I got an email about the TARDIS. It said that as a subscriber I would be getting it automatically unless I emailed them to say I didn't want it. I think it was £14.99.

I'll just sign for whatever comes through the letter box.

That's what happens anyway, when I mix vodka and ebay :D
