I've always been fascinated with muscles. Especially on men and think the bigger they are the better.

Are there any bodybuilders and muscle men on this forum?

Plus why do you want big muscles?

I do want massive muscles. I hit the gym everyday apart from Sunday which is rest day. I consume a ton of food, water and protein shakes.

I first went into it as I was fascinated and wanted to be like The Rock. Also, I come from a single parent household and that being asian as well. I was pretty insecure and literally had no confidence. No confidence at all, I felt shit about myself tbh.

I hit the gym and when I picked dumbells. The Progress I was making made me feel good. I feel strong and a lot more secure. I am happier.

I do wanna be bigger and bigger.

My only regret is that I wish I went into MMA,

I like a ripped six pack, bulging thighs & chest and massive biceps. That V is always nice to look at too.

    Just for you ;)

I do a fair amount if weight training, but I mix it up with HIIT cardio so I have more of a lean athletic look, like a 100m sprinter, rather than the bloated look.

He'd look so much better clean shaven and without the tattoos.

I prefer unshaven and loads of tattoos.

I don't like really muscley men but having seen the effort they put in and time they spend in the gym, I cannot help but admire their hard work :D (it would be rude not to)

Need? No. But I find the variety of equipment available extremely useful, it's also a very good way of meeting and socialising with people I have a common interest with, and a great way to learn new things.

I always think being muscular looks a bit odd for a short person.

I'm 5'7.5 - 5'8 and I've always wanted to do some working out, but I worry bulking out for someone my height as it often doesn't look very proportional. I think being muscular looks much better on tall guys.

Tbh it doesn't look like he does much weight training at all, if any. A physique like his is easily attainable with cardio/body weight exercises. Obviously with a good diet to achieve such a low body fat % as well.

I'm the opposite, OP. I can't stand muscles on anyone and think they look revolting. I like a well-toned man but that's possible without looking like a real life He-Man gone wrong.

I've never understood the attraction to muscles on the body at all, either the desire to have them or finding them any sort of turn on.

Its very intimidating going into the gym when its full of people that are built up.

    Revolting?

I wouldn't look twice at a skinny guy and prefer my guys to look like proper men.

I have been into heavy weight training for 15 years now. I wouldn't call myself a bodybuilder, although I do like being big and in good shape, more a power and strength builder. I couldn't imagine life without it tbh, it's just a way of life. I have met and trained with several top guys and they have pretty much all been lovely people, There seems to be a lot of negativity towards bodybuilders on ds and a lot of common misconceptions.

Well, my guy is skinny, but one look at him 'down below' and I certainly know he's a 'proper man', and then some!! Different 'strokes' for different folks and all that, teehee!

I would question how many "proper men" would cry like a baby in situations when the skinny guy would keep calm. Nothing wrong with being skinny.

Indeed. Fat can be lost relatively quickly, quality muscle takes years to develop.

I can tell by your username that you have big muscles:D

I hope the muscle bashers on this forum don't get you down cos you should keep going. At least you have a great body!

It can be sexy. Not on the back mind and too much pubes is a turn off.

Penis size isn't the be all and end all. I like to be cuddled by big strong arms and I love the feel of a six pack.

While that may be possible, the person in that picture is one of Australia's top rugby players and has been for ten years, so suggesting his body comes from a little bit of light exercise is patently wrong.

Thing is, people go there to workout, so they will be more focused on themselves than anyone else. Even in between sets, people tend to look around but they're not really looking at anyone in particular.

No one looks good in sweat pants. There is a reason no sane person leaves the house in them.
