Lee is a pretty smart guy, think this team have a good chance today especially as Mark has got a few wrong so far.

Pretty sure this is NOT a repeat.

mark just nicks it and he is ever so modest about it :D

Team didn't deserve to lose/Chaser didn't deserve to win.

The Chaser fairly went into overdrive after he answered that question about who was married to Lawrence Fox.

He answered the question BEFORE Bradley had finished asking it. THAT'S NOT FAIR!! >:(

I don't get how the chaser can interrupt Bradley mid question yet the contestants have to waste time and press a buzzer.

The Chase mostly passes my tests as a viewer but fails as something i want to apply to if they reject applicants on grounds other than knowledge. I was disappointed that recent programme showed the University Challenge application process was left to junior TV-type people rather than asking each team to answer a couple of hundred questions.

    .

Did you miss the bits where they were given questions and marked on the answers to see if they met the criteria for the prog then?
    They weren't chosen on looks.

I agree, the host gets faster and faster. Of course neither the host or the chaser want to give any money away.

The contestants are free to interrupt Bradley mid-question too. And they obviously need buzzers, otherwise the final round would be a complete mess.

For UC selection? I only saw brief bits of those programmes about UC but of course they must check their knowledge to see which teams are the best. My point is that it's close to outrageous that 'non-academic' "producer's PA", TV-type people can reject teams for other (spurious) reasons.

Great score, Anne will need to be on top form and can't afford to get many wrong.

    WELL DONE TEAM

Good score. They should get a lot of push backs.
