Gene Farrow, never heard it before. Repetitive drivel from a Saturday Night Fever lite wannabe.

Bad broadcast sound issues on Genesis here. Timeless hit song, but Mama is my fave by far.

Remember those disco lessons programmes etc? Farrow was aimed at that content... as shit as it was.

And who the HELL is this?

This Dr Hook song would have been better two minutes shorter.

I have no words for what follows...

Sort of recall this from my primary school days for some reason, and it's the first time I have likely heard it since then! Think I can wait another 35 years to hear it again, or do it again. Always thought it was the Eurovision winner in 1978. Wrong! :o

I've always thought that 'Mama' is a good song but its lyrical content is quite deep, or at least it seems like it to me. I've always thought the song was about a foetus being aborted but Phil Collins has gone on record to say it's not and that even the band's manager thought it was about an abortion when he first heard it. But he's never revealed what it really is about.

Michael Zager Band's Let's All Chant ends the show credits....is this a dated track or not? Just asking, as it's one I'm uncertain about.

No, that was "A Ba Ni Bi" - probably the worst Eurovision winner until "Diggey Loo Diggey Ley"

'Let's All Chant' is one of my all time favourite disco records. Even though the song seems cheesy and simple, the middle part is quite complex and features a French horn, oboe and harpsichord.

I think I still have the "Lets All Chant" single somewhere - haven't got anything to play it on though.
