Landscape or portrait - Which orientation do you favour?

Going purely off the pictures hanging from my walls at home i seem to have a 70% toward the landscape orientation. Then i take into account my TV and computer monitor which only enhances my landscape preference.

But wait, my books are mainly portrait orientated (except the pop-up books). Then there is the ambiguous tablets that can't make there mind up whether to be landscape or portrait.

What about the old video games like Pacman and Donkey Kong. Both portrait. Then the introduction of home gaming brought about a 90 degree rotation.

Which orientation are you most comfortable with?

Can't really decide, I think they both serve their purpose and I'm perfectly comfortable with both.

For everyday seeing, I much prefer landscape. I tried viewing everything in portrait by using blinkers but, I dunno, I just couldn't get used to it.

Have you tried turning your head 90 degrees sideways?

I am not fussed as long as it is proper art, not this modern rubbish.

Do you know which orientation this modern rubbish mostly adheres to?

I'm a classic landscape man myself although some landscapes are painted in portrait mode which really throws me.

Nobody should be discriminated against because of their picture format orientation.

Lecture slides, landscape all the way! Portrait for written text.

    Pictures - landscape usually.

As Mavis from Coronation Street used to say, "I don't really know".

I've got a mixture of both in my home. On my computer I prefer portrait. In art I prefer landscapes. :p

That's strange. I had exactly the same problem when i tried it but i didn't tell you because i didn't want to dissuade you from trying.

I suppose it depends on if the woman is lying down or stood up.

Half and half, think of a parallelogram on its end.

For my phone, mainly portrait, but that's probably due to tradition. For my tablet, landscape mode unless I'm using the kindle app and then I have to read it in portrait mode..

    Landscape.

Not even sure why but that is my gut reaction.

ETA most of our photos and piccies are landscape so that would explain it :)
