Steven Roberts (George) is coming on in leaps and bounds, but Andy Moss has has a much stronger year and proved his worth and should have been put up for Best Actor.

But apart from Jacqui, Rhys and Mitzeee, I don't think there's anyone else who's had a standout year and has been unfairly missed out. The only other HO actor I'd like to see get more recognition is Bronagh Waugh, I think she does a fantastic job making Cheryl believable, even when the scriptwriters give her some fantastically flaky and inconsistent scripts to work with.

Actually, I agree with most of the points you have made here, so maybe I overstated the case slightly, but there certainly are a fair few daft decisions.

I don't see how Jo Joyner winning Best Actress is "unfortunate" - she deserves it just as much as the rest of the nominees.

Villain of the Year - Jeff Rawle
Best Actor - Ashley Taylor Dawson
Best Actress - Karen Hassan (although i wouldn't be disappointed if Jo Joyner or Ali King won!)
Best Soap - Hollyoaks (Wouldn't be disappointed if Corrie won either!)

i definitely think Hollyoaks & Corrie have had the strongest year imo!

My ideal shortlist and winner for Best Actress and Actor (bearing in mind that I don't watch Doctors!):

Best Actor: Chris Gascoyne (Corrie), Nitin Gantra (EE), Jeff Hordley (ED), Emmett Scanlan (Oaks) - winner: Chris Gascoyne

Best Actress: A really strong category....
Jane Danson (Corrie), Alison King (Corrie), Jo Joyner (EE), Nina Wadia (EE) - winner: Alison King

I hate the Sexiest Male and Female awards and have never seen the point behind them. Best Soap has to be Corrie. No other soap even comes close to them this year.

For people saying about katherine Kelly Im guessing they're saving her for best exit and/or dramatic performance catagories since she has properly left now rather than just leaving like she was around NTA time.

Think Karen has been brilliant but I'd prefer for Chelsea to get it and I think Jane will out of those 4.

It's between Corrie and Hollyoaks for me - I'd like Oaks to get it as they've done some cracking stuff this year but reckon Corrie will get the nod.

I don't understand the upset that Claire Cooper hasn't been nominated! I know she is easily the Best Actress in HO but they need to spread out the nominations a bit more or it's unfair to the rest of the cast. Admittedly I am disappointed that Racheal Shenton hasn't been nominated as she wasn't last year! However, she may get a Dramatic Performace nomination, hopefully!
Personally, I am so glad Karen Hassan and Jenifier Metcalfe have been nominated! Love both actresses and think they are superb! Hope they both make the shortlist!

Best Soap actor - Nitin Ganatra - Masood Ahmed EE (WOULD HAVE PICKED Steve John Shepherd BUT HE ISN'T ON THE LIST WTF!!! and neither is Max Branning Jake Wood!!!!)
Best actress - Jo Joyner - Tanya Branning (no Jessie Wallace what a slap in the face for her )
Best soap - Coronation Street got it for me for 2011 first time i've ever voted for anyone other than Eastenders.

I'm quite shocked that some people haven't been nomonated.
