Looks a bit spammy, but it really isn't! Just wanted to share what I thought was a great site:

You can search your hometown and find old photos taken from above. Amazing how much has changed. Maybe it's just me, but I love things like this!

offcourse there are limit of what can be seen as cameras in those days was a little dodgy on planes and also the planes them selves was few in number. but yesloved the site

I'm having trouble navigating the site, found the Automatic Telephone Exchange in Liverpool and Crawfords where my nan worked, but can't find Toxteth or nearby... will try again

I just put Bury in and got loads of pics of Bury, Bury St Edmunds, places near Bury, places with Bury in the hame that are nowhere near Bury...............but still, I found some photos of the area I grew up in...............:)

Blimey, that's a coincidence. I was looking at that very same pic earlier as my friend's house is where the fields are to the top of the pic.
If you search for 'Greystoke' there are pics from the general area. You can see a steam train heading towards Hanger Lane Station (before it was built - the station was actually Brentham Halt which was behind where Selco is today)
