Helen won't win it, neither will her chums. Things will start to get messy again now they think the public are on their side. A lot can change in a week.

The Empire always gets stronger before the Rebel Forces overthrow them. That makes for exciting drama. So it's probably good for Helen's Empire to rise up like the Death Star at this half way point in the drama.

So while Matthew obviously didn't deserve to be a casualty of war in the viewers' vendetta against Ashleigh, this result does set up Helen's forces to become arrogant and complacent, and may end up being best for the show. :)

    Positive input appreciated and needed!

I'm certain that ash staying and Matthew leaving will go to her head, she will receive another warning and have her pass taken away. Fingers crossed anyway!

You need to grow a backbone along with the other "victims" in the house.

You do what it takes to control those around you and Helen is going a great job.

Well I suppose it depends in what kind of a person you're like yourself, but that was also the way of Hitler and Stalin. Keep people in fear and you keep control of the masses. No empathy towards other human beings. Independent thought and opinions banned. It was their way or the highway (or the gulag or concentration camp). And I suppose all the starving 'victims' in North Korea just 'have to grow a backbone' and bow to their 'Dear Leader.' I can see Helen as a second lieutenant in these regimes. Suit her down to the ground I think. She's born for it. Even resorted to pacing like a circling shark round her victim when she was warned for her gobby attacks. She has much more intimidating behaviour in her arsenal too I've no doubt, so all she has to do is keep changing her nasty behaviour when BB picks her up on it.

If Helen won, I would be disgusted with the people who voted for her and it would show just how the majority of the UK think and feel. Rewarding bad, negative behaviour is how it seems to work nowadays. People wonder why teenagers are the way they are now (not the good ones)
People might as well hang up their jobs, go and be an escort and pay no tax, get drunk all the time, be loud, nasty, bully people and been to opinionated.
Helen is a nasty person, who gave no thought to her own son on what he must be putting up with, at home, at school, when he goes places, she knows how the media works and he would of been subjected to it all. I am not saying she is a bad mum to him, but this open exposure he will have to live with forever is so wrong.

If the show doesn't turn around I refuse to watch.
You're confusing me  Was Helen up for eviction last night and saved or something? No. Not sure what on earth you're getting at, apart from Helen's past and her son.

I imagine the Matt/Ash voting was a close thing, Matt probably just pipped him at the post - did they give the figures last night, I unfortunately (or fortunately, it's debatable :D) slept through BOTS.

Yeah let's support a trampy, trashy, low-brow, two-bit, former hooker who has a mouth like a sewer and the personality of a rotten egg.

Come on, were all grown ups here , you dont need to mince your words , say what you really feel :(

This is genius on so many levels and also encourages me to keep watching. I only hope the producers are clever enough to let this happen and won't mess it all up with some short term daft idea.

The title of the thread is Helen gets strong yay and some people on here are backing her to win and want her to win. So its obvious as to what I am saying towards her fan base. If you think what her son is going through is acceptable then your entitled to your opinion.

No figures at all but wished they would show them.

    It's true though(sadly).

Ashleigh will go next week and then anyone not team Helen is toast when it comes to noms.

Noms mean F*ck all , its votes that count so,
If ashleigh goes, as you say
and Danielle and Chris are nomed , they always have at least 3 noms so the 3rd is one of the Helen gang,
So just vote for the one from helens gang

The thing with Helen though, seeing how Winston has now had a go at her, is that I think her power and the fear factor is waning, familiarity breeding contempt and all of that.

I think the housemates know her more now, are more comfortable around her - her good and bad side - and may not feel as intimidated by her now that they know her better. I do think that there is a slow and steady deterioration of her power as seen this week in the PHM task.

There are plenty of housemates in there who are not under her thumb. They may be cordial, pleasant even, and have fun with her occasionally, but that doesn't mean to say that they wouldn't also throw her under a bus given the opportunity.

I just don't think she's as powerful in there now as she may once have been, it's being eroded slowly but surely, and not by Ashleigh alone.

Unlikely. I don't think reasoning will be a strong point, do you?
