  No she wasn't. I imagine it was really loud though and thats why she put her hands over her ears. When I was her age I didn't like the sound of big bass drums at parades and would do it.
  
  There are some pictures of her going into the church with a face on her too and in some of the official photos. I love it though. I think it's brilliant and like any other child. I can imagine her mother somewhere pleading with her just to smile for the photos
