Night Fever by The Bee Gees reached number No 1 in the AT49 on 18 March 1978 and stayed there for 8 weeks until 6 May.
Night Fever was a New Entry at No 32 on 11 February 1978.

At the same time on 18 March 1978 Staying Alive also by The Bee Gees reached No 2 and it stayed at No 2 for 5 weeks until 15 April

That's a useful link, too, because I can play that station in the UK, unlike some other stations with AT40 which I can't.

We'd like to thank all of our listeners for their support since our arrival in 2010 - you've been awesome!

You can tune into smooth radio for all your favourite 70s music from Sunday.

I'm sure this has been mentioned much earlier in the thread, but CFN Europe, the Canadian Forces station, is a good source for classic and current chart shows every weekend.

    Shows include:
    AT40 - 70s
    AT40 - 80s
    Rick Dees Weekly Top 40
    Classic Countdown
    Canada's Top 20
    and Country Top 40

    Full schedule is here:
    http://www.europe.forces.gc.ca/Resources/_doc/cfn-rfc/CFN_Schedule_b.jpg

The station is pretty much commercial free with breaks for CBC News each hour.

It's available online and via TuneIn.

This is a shame. I re-discovered AT40 because of you, because of this thread, and because Smooth 70s broadcast it, which often provided a focal point for this thread.

I hope in the months ahead anyone that doesn't yet enjoy AT40 and wants to, will have the chance to, now it has a lower profile in the UK without Smooth 70s.

A good overview of stations in the USA broadcasting Casey shows is here

    http://radio.nen*******/?hz=0.00&submitted=true&y=AT40CK70

discussion about upcoming shows, new stations (USA).. can be found here

    http://at40fg.*********.com/board/5/american-classics-casey-shadoe-stevens

My favourite opportunity to listen to Casey Shows is also CFN EUROPE. Their streaming quality is comparded to most US streams very good and shows are nearly commercial free - as Jam Sir already mentioned.

Everybody enjoy go on listening to classic top 40 Casey shows!!

The lack of Smooth 70s seems to have slowed this thread as predicted.

Anyone know what we're getting this weekend? We haven't had 78 for some time...

the christmas options start 9/10 November but the 1978 show is the main option for the weekend of 21/22 december so if the station has'nt flipped over to christmas music it will be heard

Edit:....I have done a search on the TuneIn app & website but can't seem to find it...comes up with 234 Radio Gold's!!
