I think it might take more than a few days to restore the stadium (and the playing surface) after the closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony is at Hampden. It's only the opening ceremony that Celtic Park is staging.

The postponement is because Celtic Park won't be ready due to some games event taking place.

Well Hibs start with Livingston, Hearts and Falkirk. Not bad.

You are right that is is the opening at CP but there is loads of work that will need to be done.

The pitch will need to be relaid and time to bed in as well as seats put back into the main stand.

That is sad to hear didnt know he was ill, didn't he get a job at UEFA and used to give it his best efforts when trying to pronounce the foreign names at the draws :)

Dundee have signed Gary Harkins for a third time, and are rumoured to be closing in on a deal for Michael Higdon.

Disappointing for DU but great for the player. Playing in Portugal will be great for his development. So good to see a young player go abroad instead of staying in the UK.

Brilliant move for the lad, brilliant fee for Dundee Utd.

Six years? Is Jim MacLean in charge of Lisbon?

With a £48m buy out clause. I'm wondering if United have negotiated a sell on fee too?

Fee was £3m plus we play Sporting in a friendly next summer.

I can see Ryan Gauld being back to the bottom end of the Premiership/English Championship sooner rather than later. Good fee though.

So Dougie McDonald has used the 'right to be forgotten' law to have Google not list links about him being a liar.

Meanwhile he gets a job with the SFA as a referee assessor.

    You couldn't make it up.

Yes plastic Irish is the true way forward. Is there a sponsor for that top league yet? What is it about the Scottish Premiership that turns every major sponsor in the world off?
