How do you know it's a DC-HSDPA mast if you don't mind me asking, seeing you did the test on a 3GS? Comparing a 3GS with a iPhone 5 is erm gonna be way slower.

Cos in the postcode area I am in I was told it was DC-HSPDA enabled. Surely there shouldn't be that much difference from 3GS and 5 ?
Yeah for some reason my pals 3GS only ever gets really crap speeds sometimes only 1mbps yet my personal 4S gets 5+mbps (same time, same place, even swapping sims i.e. mine into his)
My 4S is always slightly slower than my 5 in non DC areas by about 1 mbps. Then obviously show the 5 a DC area and get double digits nearly always.
I'm assuming Customer Service/Retail told you? Is it always like this?

It's the latest update of the Speedtest.net app. Android update coming soon

2nd: 3/T-Mob with 3.36Mb/s D; 1.56Mb/s U; 106ms ping
3rd: Orange with 0.37Mb/s D; 0.32Mb/Ss U; 158ms ping
No Vodafone 3G signal available to test.
