Of course she's not!!!!! She's a lot worse. At least Tina had some amount of guilt about what she was doing with Peter, Carla was ecstatic when she was cheating with Peter on Leanne and then she went out of her way to rub Leanne's face in it and insisted that Peter would act horribly toward Leanne too, just for an extra twist of the knife and because she's abnormally possessive.
How are you supposed to have sympathy for the selfish, cruel bag? It's all about her.
So when she called Tina 'a backstabbing little bitch' it was the pinnacle of irony. Pity it's lost on someone who's too blinkered to see their own double standards.
I agree. I never brought Carla and Peter being the love of each other lives.

And Maria did the same thing to Toyah and tried to do the same to Fizz. They all cheat just about all of the time. What I want to know is when will karma be a bitch to the men cheats

I think it was Xin. Wow, I'd clean forgotten about that storyline! The guy playing Graham left in such a weird way. I got the feeling something had happened behind the scenes.
Forgot what happened to Sean when Michelle found out he was at it with her boyfriend.
But anyway, at least during the times Carla was the other woman it wasn't just some quick fling that seemed to happen out of nowhere. Remind me, just how close were Tina and Peter before all this? Did they just pick out a name at random? (Very bad writing there) Carla was actually in love with both Liam and Peter before becoming the other woman. Both scenarios had months of build up before anything even happened. Whereas Peter and Tina seemed to have just jumped into bed with each other without a second's thought. Pfft.
Leanne never sleped with Carla's husband. They only talked. Wether the two people cheating are in love is irrelevant, cheating is cheating and in no circumstances is it ever the right thing to do.

The trouble with the storyline is you feel that none of the three people involved deserve any sympathy anyway!
This story has been debunked so many times now it's just a farce.
Leanne went as an escort to meet Carla's husband but she didn't sleep with him and was horrified when she realised that it was him. Didn't her put her in his car boot or something when he found out as well? Yes they did have her being a escort or (prostitute) but she did move on from that and grow up. I think it was a crap storyline then anyhow, and mostly because EEs had brought in a prostitute character slightly before that, but anyway Leanne only became more interesting later on,
If Carla was in love with Peter before she and he became a couple, then why would Tina not have been in love with him too while he was with Carla.
Even though it was so sudden and unlikely for them to be paired together, it's obvious that Tina adored him and became obsessed. She was desperate to believe he loved her and too truthful and niave to understand just how easy it was for him to lead her on and say tender things to her just to have his wicked way with her.
I think Tina wanted to find a dependable and devoted older man who could take the place of her father in a way and someone with experience who she could learn a bit of wisdom from and Peter, ever the opportunist and chancer with women instinctively realised this and seized his moment.
It did annoy me as well that they made Tina to behave in a way which was totally out of character. I think it was so important for her to be in the right and to have honour in herself that she wouldn't have let herself down like that. She really was a very untypical and heroic figure for a female Corrie character:(
Oh and also I never said cheating was ok, I just meant that Carla and Peter's affair was far more believable than Tina and Peter's. I don't think Tina and Peter were in love. I think Tina was infatuated by him, blinded by lust, and Peter lead her on. Simply because he's become a selfish man who's only concerns are getting laid and getting drunk.
I just hope Carla doesn't take him back after all this. He doesn't deserve her.
Yeah poor Leanne. Losing her family unit. Wasn't this the same woman who stood by Carla when she was cheating with Liam, and even tried to persuade her to run off with him knowing that Maria was pregnant with his child?
Anyway at the end of the day, none of the characters are better than each other and have all done something bad. We could be here forever trying to score points over who is worse or trying to justify some of their actions.
