Look at all these sycophants all cheering Mo on, rather pathetic.

What was the remit for those 2 pacemaker ahead of Mo? What are they meant to be pacing?

    What's wrong with that?

There's Lucozade at every mile marker, he shouldn't have to wait to long for some.

The elites have special drinks pre-prepared.. he can't pick up a normal one.

Are you actually not allowed to or do the elites just decide not too and have their own?

Thought that earlier when Dibaba dropped hers and went back as there was a table full of lucozade round the corner! Would make sense why she did if she isn't allowed to take the 'normals' drinks.

+49 seconds. Probably due to the break someone tried to make at the front of the leaders.

Must be guided runners, the Kiplagats hadn't got there at that point.

They're allowed to but it's not something they'd want to do because it wouldn't be what they trained with or prepared to drink. It might give them an upset stomach or just clash with the other drinks they've consumed and cause problems so they'll wait for the next elite table.

Mo went for a normal water though and dropped that too. Is it for risk of doping?

No different to when Gabreselaissie runs in Ethiopia.

Wow. 2hrs 25 for the visually impaired runner. Might put him top 60 overall.

Mo doesn't stand a chance wearing 26 which is the race number of perpetual MotoGP bridesmaid Dani Pedrosa. :(

I'll be happy if he beats the guy wearing the long socks !!

    It's just not right .

I would rather they had put the elite races coverage on BBC1 HD and the mass coverage on the Red Button.

I wonder if Mo collapsing at NY caused him to adjust his goals for today and he decided not to take the race on. Just seems really odd to me that he was never in this. In half marathons he's had no problem staying with the lead packs but today he just picked a pace and didn't go with the leaders at all. But at other times he looked desperate to speed things up. Weird.
