I'm from NI but the Derry accent is like nails down a blackboard. >:(

Hers is worse than Nadine Coyles. :cry:

    It is a very harsh accent isn't it? Not easy on the ears at all.

    It is a horrid accent. Kind of like a slightly less pleasant version of Geordie or Essex...

    I'm a Derry girl and have to agree that our accent is pretty horrible. But the girls in this town are the most beautiful EVER!

    I love her, I went to Northern Ireland once but not long enough to hear accents (4 hours).

    I've stayed in Londonderry, a place called the Fountain and I think it's a mint accent.

    She sounds charming and her accent is quite agreeable. It's nothing like as harsh as Essex.

    Essex is terrible but Birmingham is like something out of Hell.

    You think the Derry accent is bad and you are from NI ? As for Nadines accent well! All I know is she has one hell of a singing voice.
