What was he imprisoned for? Bad acting? Hang on, didn't he die years ago?

I liked him in the Great Escape, never watched any of those Death Wish films though, he is dead btw.

Go on then tell us what you think. You won't of course. Another one of "what do you think" threads from you. Boring.

I would have to say that he is. I was surprised to hear he was released back into society.

Great film that.Loved that scene when he shut the prison officer in his cell, then started getting greased up.You could almost sense the fear of the officer through the screen.:o

He is absolutely brilliant as gang leader Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders at the moment (recorded it for later).

He does really love playing a psychopath - Bill Sikes, Bronson, Freddie, Bane, Alfie Solomons and both the Krays soon as well.

And his self produced wildlife documentary series Poaching Wars last year on ITV was excellent - and showed what a really decent bloke he is. :)

I thought he was rubbish as Bane, the voice didn't help whatsoever!

Can't wait to see him in The Krays.Hope he's as good as those Spandau Ballet guys.:p

I do mean the man who has been in prison for god knows how long.

He stated in an interview that he has turned over a new leaf and wants to leave prison.

His psychiatrist says he should be released and has been treated unfairly as he has spent years in solitary confinement.

The media has hyped him up as a violent prisoner but apparently apart from hostage situations he hasn't hurt anyone>? Hummm...
