WiFi and TV Interference

Hi
Recently we've noticed interference with the TV picture when watching using the coaxial cable that delivers Sky around the house.
We also experience drop outs on the wifi.
Using a wifi scanner we can see an occasional increase in noise which upsets the wifi SNR and causes the wifi to slow or drop out.
Is it likely that the source of the interference or noise on both the TV and the WiFi is coming from the same source?
