I am watching Birds of a Feather on the Comedy Central X. I remember my parents always having it on in the background when I was younger. I totally love it!!
There are so many laugh out loud moments!
Why they have not got all the series out on DVD is beyond me. I think it is a classic!
This is where a good facebook petition group would come in useful!
Anybody agree?

I have never understood why it's never been released either. I think I saw series 1 on DVD once - but certainly not all the seasons.
I love the episode where the girls get locked in a run down car park and Sharon gets hysterical and tries to eat the car seat.
Another classic moment is when Dorien stands in for Sharon at a big karaoke event by singing 'Like A Virgin' by Madonna.
I have that one Loz, made by Prism Leisure under licence from Freemantle
I think its our old friend royalties that is the problem,
Taken drom this site back in May last year.
Lesley Joseph has given her support to a potential Birds Of A Feather comeback.
Speaking on This Morning, the actress - Dorian Green in the classic sitcom - revealed that both she and Linda Robson (Tracey Stubbs) would like to do more episodes.
"I know Linda and I would like to do more," she said. "I can't go out in the street anymore without someone saying to me 'Please bring back Birds Of A Feather!' It was deeply loved and still is, so it's just a question now of waiting to see."
She continued: "The television market has changed a lot, but lots of things have been revisited. Ab Fab, Only Fools And Horses.
"So bring back Birds, I say! Even just for one Christmas special."
Earlier this year, Pauline Quirke sparked rumours that the series was set to return.
+++++++
I was never a fan and would prefer they didn't. Not because I didn't like the show but because it was of it's time. IMO it wouldn't work as they're all so much older and socirty has changed.
Did you see the horrific reunion version of To the manor born they did?

although I think they've got the wrong Darryl on the Series 1 pic (that's a picture of the actor who played him in series 7), and the picture of Pauline Quirk and Laura Robson looks like a picture from a later series too (whereas the pic on the S2 cover looks more like it was taken around the time of that series).
can u only but the dvds off that website?? because i had a look on amazon and they arnt on there?

I bought the complete Series 1 - Series 9 DVD set on iOffer a few months ago for £19, the recordings are VHS quality and obviously not official but this didnt bother me as there were no official releases of the later series.
Cheaper in HMV

No its the correct Daryl on the series 1 DVD cover (ie Alun Lewis). Doug McFerran played him from Series 7 on, he had very little hair
Very missable.
Whoever told the blond one she could act
They're all due to be released throughout 2011.
Is this a guarentee?
*(Not a guarantee)
Yeah, according to wikipedia.
