    So you see I really was trying to help :)

    Most strange, though, as you say: I'm not sure of the detailed Error Checking used for Software Updates, but a "Failed" Download should not displace an earlier working Version.

    Consequently, a F/D to get the same Version ought to be redundant.

    Very odd.

    Absolutely - I wonder if they were pre-loaded with corrupt software at the factory/distributor rather than being updated "On Air" at the time of Installation?
