Hello lovely people of DS
I've just bought a ipad 4th gen retina (the one with the lightning connector)
I'm struggling to find cases specifically for the 4th gen..I bought one designed for the New iPad (whichever one that is) but the magnetic cover wouldn't stay closed, so i'm guessing it's the wrong one
so, do you have a 4th gen and what case do you use? I'm looking for something where the ipad slides in and closes magnetically or has an elastic strap
I've looked on the apple store, and it's a bit lacking

Have this for my mini and wife has for ipad2, looks like it does one for latest one, a bit pricey but can not fault it really
Now I know the 3rd gen is same size as 4th, i'll get mine swapped over, 4th gen if I can get one, 3rd gen if not
Thanks for your replies everyone
3rd gen here has retina
I bought this one for my new iPad it fits perfectly.Does not cover any of the screen and turns it of when closed.
I have tried others but this is the best one for me.
Just read the reviews!
There was an issue when the iPad 3 came out (the "new" iPad) where Apple had swapped the polarity of the magnets and although their own smart covers still worked, certain 3rd party ones didn't - you may have one of those.

Does a brilliant job much better than the Ipad ones at the same price or more...
