    It isn't on netflix

I saw that it was on Amazon Prime Instant Video, so assumed it was available there as well.

Psychopathic bosses who thrive on power trips and think the best way to get someone to work is to bully them rather than support them.
I'm on a roll here, this the third boss i've met recently that is a total gobshite, and his crony too.

Also idiot cyclists who think it's a good idea to cycle on a narrow main road full of turns at 7.30 in the morning when people are trying to get to work. Not giving a flying fig that everyone else stuck behind the cyclist is being held up. Bloody selfish they are.

BPP Media, I am trying to return some books I ordered for a course that I am no longer doing. I asked for a returns form and they sent me an address, I replied saying I didn't have a delivery note(I don't think I ever received one) and I checked out as a guest so don't have an online account to get an order confirmation from and they didn't send me an order confirmation email (great service from someone selling Accounting textbooks). I got a response saying "I don't understand checked out as a guest, if you need technical help email this address".

I don't suppose they want to be on the main road with turns at 7.30AM but unless they are super rich and doing it just to annoy people I would wager that they need to go to work too and that's why they are there.

Banks and their postal services. Both me and a relative, customers of different banks have had recent issues with cards/cheque books not arriving at all, let alone on time. I know some things are beyond their control but even standard letters from my bank seem to arrive a week after the date in the letter. It's a good job personal finances aren't important...

Forum members who seem to do nothing but belittle the trivial annoyances or others or mock the subjects they wish to discuss.

"Is that the worst thing in the world?"

"Why don't you just stop going there if you dislike it that much?"

    "Is this really that important?"

As if were it up to them we'd exclusively talk about world hunger and trying to find cures to cancers. Important work that must be done on an entertainment forum, obviously. I'm spending more time on GD and I notice a group of posters who tend to stick together around certain threads with the sole purpose of mocking everyone who posts in them. So that's a trivial annoyance at the moment.

Sounds like more a problem with royal mail.

People who talk on their mobile phones via a hands-free set.....even though their hands are free!
    They clearly want attention.

I know I've posted this before, but once again I've had to resist the urge to throw a rant at the lazy, slovenly, inconsiderate b*stard who was idly leafing through the newspapers at Tesco today.
He had opened almost every paper (sports pages, natch) and left each one open and some of them with the sheets all mucked-up. Then he just ambled off....What a five-star TWOT.

When you cut and paste something it should be a one-time thing, like a Star Trek transporter event. You should not be able to cut and paste and paste and paste and paste and paste etc etc. If you wanted to do that the copy and paste function is available, darn it.

I had to use hands free all the time on an old phone because it didn't work without it off for some reason. On my current phone I sometimes have to use it if my baby has managed to get hold of my phone and chew in the ear piece because I can't hear properly until it dries out. It is embarrassing though.

People who speak into the microphone on their phone but without the speaker at their ear (I can't think of how to describe that better) - it makes it look like they're talking to a slice of pizza.

When a news article or thought-provoking blog post doesn't have a comments section. Comments are often the best thing about the article/post, so I tend to pout petulantly when the section is turned off.

Could they have gone a different route instead?Maybe one which isn't on a main road leading onto a roundabout.

My gripe today is about Adobe software, why do their programs crash constantly. And why is there no print screen button on Macs.

Also why does Windows 7 have to move everything around, and rejig the order of the buttons in Office programs. So hard to find simple functions.
Used to be able to take a screenshot with a keyboard key -now I have to use a snip/clip tool so no shortcut button for it afaik. It's backwards and silly.

    1) Maybe they don't fancy having to ride any further than necessary to get to work. Mode of transport doesn't tend to alter the necessity to be there on time, and cycling tends to involve a wash & change too. Why don't you take the scenic route instead? It's easier in a car and faster too.

    2) use Prt Scrn to capture eveything into the clipboard, or alt+Prt Scrn to capture the window with the focus. Pretty standard stuff, in W7 and higher. And lower.

Well it sounds more polite than the word "snidey" or "snide" which has the same meaning

You can adjust that in your settings : )

Absolutely agree with this. Why don't they make the doors push open from the inside?

I had a discussion about this with a couple of carpenters once - they were fitting doors at my workplace. I asked them why they couldn't make the doors push outwards, for exactly the reason under discussion, and they told me there's an issue with people walking past in the hallway outside the door. One of the guys said "God forbid someone gets clonked as they walk past, eh?" and rolled his eyes.

I do understand why they open inwards, but it's still annoying. :D

OMG I'm so glad you mentioned that! I've noticed it more and more - "Car crashes into tree - Twitter/Facebook reactions" and that's it! No facts, just "X left a wreath saying blah blah" or the victim's twitter feed was overwhelmed, and the 'report' lists them all verbatim. It's sloppy, it's not reportage, it's just cheap gossip.

I was at an ATM the other day and a guy came up to use the other one next to me. All of a sudden, he let out the biggest burp ever and took no notice....just casually walked away when he withdrew his cash:(
