So, will Rodgers make the huge call of Lucas on for Gerrard.Or take Coutinho off when we need a bit of magic and push Stevie forward.

Brilliantly worked goal created by Suarez and Henderson and finished by .Really need a barnstorming second half.

Glimmer of hope! Lovely finish from Sturridge. Just shows how bad Villa really are at the back. If we get this formation sorted and bring Lucas on we have every chance of winning.

Villa still fighting every 50-50 and racking up the shots.Need something else to not only go ahead but hopefully knock some wind out of their sails.

I think Cissokho won a competition to play at Anfield.

Shouldn't be. He's just doing what is standard in the PL these days and is preached by the likes of Oscar, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Adnan Januzaj et al.

Very minimal contact, but Guzan was a fool for rushing out that far to the side of goal, could have easily sprinted and kicked the ball out, or made himself big and hustle the ball out rather than going diving at Suarez's feet.

Villa players tend to scream like they've been shot, whenever an LFC player gets too close.

Seeing as the ref had conveniently ignored him being hacked and elbowed on separate earlier occasions, then I think the pen was getting the benefit of the doubt later in the game.

It was a total dive but id expect any striker to do the exact same. If the keeper is rash thats the risk you take.

It won't do his rep any favours though but Im sure no one cares.
