We have gone backwards further away from top four every season since were in it.
They just seem to be bypassing our midfield. Capoue and Bentaleb not doing too great at the moment. This is why I desperately want us to keep Sandro.
Lacking that accurate final pass up the other end. Either passing it to a Liverpool player, or taking one too many touches and losing possession. Hopefully a regroup at half time will have them coming out in a better frame of mind. We definitely have it in us to score. But then again so do Liverpool.
what exactly is it he'd give us then? he's one of those more-to-his-game-than-goals strikers/forwards, which basically means he doesn't score for toffee and tries to compensate for it by running around a lot. Lord knows we don't need any more of those

Yes, seeing Dembele especially on the sideline waiting to come on did not fill me with any sense of enthusiasm. But then I looked at our bench and it really is not very inspiring in general. Still, would have preferred to have seen Holtby given a chance ahead of either of those two.
I think its Tottenham who have been poor rather than Liverpool being 'amazing'. Apart from Chadlee's effort I can't think of too many incidents where Spurs look threatening, and they're the home team.
The Spurs defence made Sterling look like he was Maradona, yeah it was a good run but all 4 spurs defenders ran towards one side of the goal!
