    Meh...

Lol :D. I'm more curious than excited if I am being honest. It'll be interesting if they can match the London opening ceremony for spectacle. But Commonwealth ceremonies do not exactly have the budget to allow for that. Plus I heard they are wheeling out Susan Boyle! Erm... yeah

Sean Connery is going to light the flame with a laser that just misses his balls.

They've spent 20m for tonight's Opening Ceremony. Was told on The One Show that's airing live from outside Celtic Park right now.

Just discovered that all the musical segments/arrangements, etc during the ceremony will be overseen by Scottish producer Mylo.

Can't believe they are bringing tourists to a block of flats set for demolition and a really shitty pub in a run down area.

People really shouldn't (although many are certain to) compare the opening ceremony tonight with London 2012 as the events have massively different budgets

I fervently hope i'm proved wrong but sadly West Of Scotland bigotry is ingrained like a skid mark on a hotel towel, so I bet my pension there will be some booing as the England Team enter the arena.

She's from Glasgow. Although you wouldn't think it when you hear her fake posh accent.

Not sure if Lineker is the right choice for the hosting duties.
