Jennifer Lawrence utterly and completely for me. She's made The Hunger Games series so far a sensation, she was incredible (and my highlight) in American Hustle and she made Winter's Bones, the type of film I would usually plan to give a wide birth, intriguing for me. (I also enjoyed House at the End of the Street, as generic as it was, a lot, but I seem to be the only one.)
Dicaprio and Bale are trurly outstanding, some great films they've made the past 15 years.
Leo is possibly one of those rare breed of actors where I can't think of a really bad film his made. I haven't seen J.Edgar though which would be the first.
A few films aside, Matt Damon's impressed me with everything he's ever done. Particularly Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr Ripley, The Bourne series and Saving Private Ryan
Jennifer Lawrence is having a pretty good run too. House At The End of the Street is the only film she's been in I haven't liked. Even her smaller pre-Winter's Bone independent films are very enjoyable;
I'd say Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks and Joaquin Phoenix. I've not seen every film they have each done, but have seen the majority, and am struggling to think of one I didn't enjoy.
Arnold Schwarzenegger!
Denzel Washington!
Sylvester Stallone!
Tom Hanks!
(God knows how many DVDs in have with these Guyz in the credits!!!) ;-)
I agree with this.... there's a sort of safety in knowing what you're going to get and you're unlikely to want your money back. They don't go off doing indulgent arty-farty crap or worry about displaying their range by working for an insane indie director on some arsey project or other.

He is avery underrated actor, but always produces excellent performances in films such as Fargo.

That being said, for me, Michael Fassbender is clearly the greatest actor of our time.
