Junior is running in the #grandnational? Is there nothing Peter Andre won't put those kids through for publicity?

I love how Ian Hyland knows exactly what PA is all about and isn't afraid to say so. :)

Talk about reactive PR. It's like they read here and then decide how to play it.

The reality TV star's sibling Andrew is battling liver cancer but has thanked Peter for drawing attention to the disease.

"After he watched my reality show last week, he said he was chuffed I was being so open about his illness, and he said he wants to do an interview about it once he's better. I'm going to hold him to that."

I've no doubt that you'll make damn sure of it... and that you'll be there with him all the way, right down to the photo shoot for the cover.

    'Once he's better'?

Isn't that being a bit free and easy with the medical facts?

    Unless....

I think i've heard it all now, and i'm not on about Peter Andre either!

I'm not a PA fan, neither do i dislike him, he's just `there`. But i can't see why he's made out to be the scum of the earth either?

All he's done is talk about his brother having cancer. Who says he actually sold a story? And now, people are making out his bro doesn't actually have cancer after all..it's one big lie!

    Seriously. Get a grip people.

Do thoughts of Peter Andre really rile you so much? I think it's time to look at a lifestyle change in your lives to be honest..

This whole saga just gets weirder, more taasteless and makes me think more than ever that Peter is shifting into some sort of narcissistic personality condition - a symptom of which is making the misfortunes of others all about themselves - his brother's illness not being the first example of this.

:D Why do the opinions of the observers and critics of the crass elements of popular culture make you think we we ought to change our lives? We think, we challenge what is fed to us. This is healthy. If we didn't - we'd be plebs.Perhaps if it riles you so much that you need to make veiled insults at forum members, perhaps you should take your own advice?

Wasn't it "terminal" a couple of interviews ago? http://www.contactmusic.com/news/peter-andre-wont-accept-brothers-cancer-diagnosis_1314758

We're back in heart attack/moob strain territory. While I've no doubt Andrew is receiving treatment for his illness (and here's to his speedy recovery), I think there's an element of over egging it for dramatic (ie publicity and monetary) purposes.

It's hard not to come to that conclusion, based on what PA is saying.

Not sure if it's the fault of reporting or inconsistant information but the type of cancer has changed from stomach to kidney to liver...which are all completely different types of primary cancers.

Was CAN website says that they make sure all reports are correct from the clients to the media?

But that's just it, Daisy. It's not something you play fast and loose with. Had they clarified it from the beginning, in a clear statement, then there would not be the degree of speculation about the motivation behind the interviews and the playing it out in the media. It has gone from 'terminal' to 'once he's better' in the space of a couple of weeks. PA constantly talks rubbish but you'd have thought, on this one, the need for clarity would be paramount.

No wonder people are giving him the side-eye.

ETA: adding that link again, the earlier one is not working

Don't speculate about what may or may not be true.. Apparently that's not allowed when it involves PA.
Peter himself on his trailer for his show says his brothers cancer isn't looking good.
