Funny stuff. I don't know if any of the board have seen the Hulkster's U.S. commercials with American Football Hall of Famer Troy Aikman, but here's a link to one:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7fKYAJ41hM

Remember in the mid 90's when WWF TV had the skits with "The Huckster" and "Billionaire Ted" (Turner)?
    Marshall

My article on the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Chief Jay Strongbow:

A look at some of my favorite Now That's What I Call Music! CD releases:

I'm sorry, but this Y2J/Punk feud has been poorly done from the start, their match at Wrestlemania wasn't that great (there, I've said it) and this 'alcoholic vs straight edge' story is just cringe worthy, there's something about the way Punk is during these promo's that tells me he just not into this storyline all that much.

I'm a bit of a Punk fanboy at the moment so I want to see him out of this storyline as quickly as possible. And set him back on fire again with a few pipe bombs, it feels like like he's been slowly losing his edge during this title run, & that should worry the higher ups because it was his 'edge' that got him here in the first place, It's like once Punk passed Cena in sales they wanted him to put on a smile and cater to the fans for cheap pops and merch sales.

I agree, the WM match should have been the end of that feud.

I was hoping they'd try and build a CM Punk/Rock feud instead as Punk has had legitimate heat with Rock in the past.

Thats clearly what Punk needs at the moment.

With Rock unavailable for the next few months I think Jericho is Punk's best option. The only other option would be to turn Randy Orton heel and have him go after Punk.

The lack of top class heels is hurting his list of opponents. Rhodes, Ziggler, Miz and ADR are all midcard just now, and dont appear to be a threat to Punk (to be fair - neither does jericho, but he is more over than them)

D.Bryan is super over, but it's too soon after losing the WHC.

Just reading others comments on the commentary, and I think Lawler is absolutely awful. He never puts the talent over, sounds like a lecherous perv regarding the girls, and his jokes are awful. I keep expect him to start wittering on about needing his meds and how they used mustard gas on him in the war. Booker may be rubbish, but he is enthusiastic and puts the talent over.

Haha, of course not - don't you know that only American soldiers are killed in Iraq and Afghanistan?

WWE is an American company and they really couldn't give two shits about most other markets, hence why we have to listen to the dire 'America The Beautiful' and all the military pontificating at the start of every Wrestlemania.

Unless Wrestlemania is in Canada and then they sing their national anthem.

I've never understood why people get so annoyed by the singing of America the Beautiful at the beginning of Wrestlemaina. As you say they are an american company so why not be patriotic about that? The NFL do it at the Superbowl at that is watched by hundreds of millions of people and they dont get moaned at continually.
