    Just turned on to this in the past 5 minutes, this is uber cringey. CJ, obviously acting, but he's just too rude and obnoxious, with his "I don't remember asking your opinion Jeremy" and "Does I don't care count as an answer?!".
    Even The Chasers wouldn't do that, its literally like he doesn't want to be there, and is just there for the money!

    Its just awful!

    Oooh, I couldn't bear CJ's smug expressions and looks of tedium.
    When I read the format for this show in my magazine I thought it was a rip off of The Chase.
    It's a shame as I enjoy learning facts for my own quiz nights, but I can't go through all that again!

    I'm a bit behind with this as I had it on pause for a bit - I'm not enjoying it so far; it's quite slow paced and dry - the pantomime villain act isn't really working either.
    A very poor version of The Chase, imo.

    While it was nice to see the old TARDIS interior recycled, in this case it turned out to be much smaller on the inside than the outside.

    That programme was pure garbage. The abysmal format should never have got as far as even being considered for production.

    (IMHO, of course)

    Five minutes and I couldn't stand any more of CJ's arrogance and contemptuous looks at the contestants as he expected them to give the wrong answer.
    Was looking forward to the return of the Eggheads as well.

    I am not sure why they changed the format to be honest, maybe Daphne retiring?, This seems to be a huge work from CJ and feels very fake,

    I disagree. His questions were a lot easier and I guess they will continue to be.

    I noted the questions we had on tennis and chess.....roll eyes.

    I don't think it's a replacement for Eggheads. Just something different while Eggheads isn't being shown.

    Oh I hope not! Mark Labbett said in an interview the other week that the producers of The Chase were considering adding a fifth chaser and had been auditioning people :o

    I can't see them picking CJ though. He'd be a terrible fit for the show.
