I was half asleep in posting this morning...got my days mixed up. 2am Tuesday morning is what I meant. Please don't come here saying your box hasn't updated, it's being done in batches and only DRX890/5, with the 595 release at a later date. So if you have those boxes, you will get the new software eventually.

I wonder what happened to Sky's more 'open' beta testing program? Last year this was very active, and before the forum was closed they even implied that that group would be considered for future tests. There was a lot of positive feedback, and surely those tests helped resolve issues before wider deployments, so does anyone know why they didn't continue?
I smile when I think back to one post from a moderator in November last year, saying that the shared planner 'may just miss Christmas but will be ready for testing soon'. I'm sure when they posted, they didn't realise it may miss Christmas 2013!

Yes, when it's ready the box will just restart.
Has anyones Sky box been updated yet or was this rumour false?

Is that not the option that allows the ipad to talk to the sky box?

Wrong thread
Just adds the 4oD on demand section for the app.
4oD is independent of forthcoming update.
But it doesn't state which day / month / year this is
But, of course, the OP didn't specify that either:eek:
Exactly what I said previously, there WILL be a massive ad campaign around this when its launched.
What about Pace/Samsung? Any idea when?
Unfortunately not. No rumblings about an impending update for those boxes.

It didn't happen.
But
It will happen.
Sky are busy with new Search ATM
but must be having some major problems with shared planner bugs.
Sky are bit by bit erasing the Virgin TiVo intelligent advantage and making TiVo seem overly complicated, which it is, at the same time.
It is Sky tradition to leak info and sit back and have us talk about what will eventually come.
If anything changes I'm sure someone will post the details in these forums 1st.
