And he had The Osmonds on.
He was 84.
I was just about to hunt that out - and I was just thinking about him the other day!
I gotta say his voice knocks the socks off the XFactor contestants.
Lets hope XFactor don't decide to do some sort oif tribute thingy and murder his songs
RIP Andy

Definitely. His voice had character and charisma all on it's own.
There were so many which I'd forgotten about, but when listening brought back childhood memories of being in my late grannies & grandads lounge and playing their records...........
Good times which are very sorely missed x
oh yes this one is cool

As a teenager in the 60s I wouldn't have been caught dead listening to Andy Williams............he was the epitome of 'uncool'............well, him and Val Doonican
But he did go some good records..............:)
Yay! I loved that bit as a kid.
Andy Williams wasn't cool when I was a kid, but with hindsight, he was accomplished.
Moon River
PS - youtube'd it, <gulp>

Resting In Peace Forever
Love that ad. Didn't know it was an Andy Williams track.:o..one of my favourites.:)
Also like Moonriver and Try to Remember.
R.I.P. Andy.
He also introduced to the world one of the first very popular boy bands..........The Osmonds.
Sleep peacefully Mr. Williams.
