Apart from the legend that is Deirdre, kylie Gail and occasionally Sally are there actually any likeable decent females on the show?

    Piss off Michele and Carla

Katie and Steph are quite nice.

Indeed it is sad OnJ:cry:My mum and dad met there in the early 50's when it was the Empress Ballroom.

As Wigan Casino it closed in '81 and mysteriously "burned down" a year later.>:(
Now we have the ugly IMO Grande Arcade built in it's place.:(

Was Declan Macey in the vicinity by any chance? :D:D

Your only just realising this NOW, the previous 4 months of him shagging Tina didn't give you a hint?

Yes, but blaming it all on Carla was the lowest of the low. >:(>:(

People moaned when she was just cutting hair in the background bet they are regretting it Now.

I'm not, I'm happy Maria is talking centre stage again. Last nights episode was great and so was Samia. Can't wait to see more of Maria unraveling and see what she does next.:)

Me too avon! About time the naive little worm turned. I can't wait, and if she's going to cause havoc in the lives of Gormless Toblerone and Godawful Fiz, it's all good in my book. GO MARIA!!!:cool:

Was pretty awful - even for Peter.

Equally nasty to Miss Hell - but wasn't so bothered about that as with the way he'd treated Carla (trying to turn it all round and blame her - classic alkie stuff, that was).

I didn't blame him for having a go at Michelle. Didn't think it was her place to criticise him like that. Bet she'll give Steve hell for knowing about Peter's lapse - well, one of them :)

Well no - agreed - was cursing at the tv screen (how sad, am i!!?) wanting Miss Hell to shut it. Always sticking her oar in - it was nothing to do with her although she clearly thought it was.

Just my point being that Peter was as equally rude and nasty to her as he was to Carla - and it was completely unfair of him toturn it around and try to blame it all on Carla IMO - but the same, wasn't as bothered with Michelle as she was really pushing him.

That is no excuse though for Peter - and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't turn violent soon - did think he would've done with Michelle, tbh (if Steve hadn't have been there). That was my reading of the undertones that were going on.

As you say - it'll be all Steve's fault for sure - Michelle will give him hell.

Congrats on the forthcoming 2K posts by the way.

She made a pretty lousy line quite funny at one point when she said "No Eileen, they're going to go somewhere really horrible." She's not as bad as people make out.

    bib: Yes, she really is.

One minor, moderately amusing quip doesn't make her Corrie's answer to Judi Dench.:D

I don't think anyone is comparing Kate Ford to Judi Dench, but she has been far less annoying than other female actors ( eg Kym Marsh, Jennie McAlpine and Brooke Vincent)
We all see different attributes though.:D

Very true. And the character really did commit cold-blooded, premeditated murder.

    Thankyou - I hadn't noticed :)

I got a sense of violence from Peter too. When he said to Michelle he wouldn't ask her to leave so nicely again, I wondered if he was going to manhandle her out :o

I was surprised Carla stayed on her own with him - I wouldn't have done.
