UK should pull out. The show is utterly political and decided based on prejudice views of us. Get out.

But if one of them did do it for UK next year would we stand a chance?

A Brit act would have a decent shot if they were a household name across Europe but it might not be enough to overcome political voting.

I don't think it matters how good we are, we'll never win.

We will never win, because Europe hate us. It really is as simple as that.

We could have the biggest superstar in the world, and it still would not be enough.

I wonder how our results would have been different if we had a Government that really embraced Europe and not have UKIP making a load of noise about how bad being in Europe is.

I think it could work for Bastille or One Direction. I know Bastille have performed in Switzerland before and France and Italy and Germany and Sweden and Norway before

Your getting Europe mixed up with the EU, hating the EU doesn't mean you hate Europe as a whole

It is political, you only have to look at the reaction Russia are getting tonight.
(Im not condoning Russia's recent actions at all)

Spot on. We are wasting our money on it. Might as well flush that cash down the toilet.

We've tried lots of approaches. One day it will work.

Look at the Netherlands who failed to escape the semi final for about seven years. Or Austria who haven't won since the mid 1960s. Top two tonight!

Our day will come - but it might be decades as there are up to 40 countries who can win.
