Webpages won't load straight away - is it o2?

Is anyone else having this trouble? Frequently when I click to either go to a webpage in my favourites, click on a thread in a forum etc., I get the message Internet Explorer has stopped working. Diagnose this problem" yet if I click the refresh button, the page then loads. Doesn't happen every time but I would say 50-60%. It's been happening for some time now and I'm wondering if there's a problem with my laptop or if it's an o2 issue.
