Thanks to everyone who voted in Round Twenty Eight :)

If you haven't played a Survivor game before and would like to join in it's all very easy. Now that we’ve reached the final all that you need to do is pick which one of the remaining two characters is your favourite. The one with the least votes will be evicted into second place and the remaining character declared the winner.

The game then, is all about what you think of the characters that you can vote for. You should not consider how good the episode or episodes that the characters appear in were, just how much you like or dislike the character in question.

Votes should be sent to me via PM. Please do NOT post your votes on the thread!

You can also send your votes into the following round automatically. Just type "auto" with your choices & your choices will automatically be carried forward into the following round(s).

So it's on with the results...

As usual, you can try and work out what order the characters were ranked in in the last round. With just three characters left there's not a lot of possible combinations left!

We already know that Professor River Song topped the vote so...

    01) Professor River Song

    02)

    03)

Who, out of Donna and Jack ended up with the most votes?

Opinions can be posted on here or sent to me via PM. I'll reveal the full results when the winner is announced.

I thought you'd be pleased. There was one point this week when all three characters had equal votes and I really wasn't sure who would end up going. A few people who voted today pushed River Song into the lead though.

Once this Survivor is complete there will be a "short interregnum" (to quote from The Ark In Space") during the Christmas period.

"Survivor" will be back in January 2011, allowing you to cast your votes on all of the New Who episodes transmitted upto the end of 2010.

How will Season Five fare I wonder?

Anyway, whilst considering the Prediction Games I realised that there may be a problem in Prediction Game Two. This is when I ask players to predict which will be the highest ranking episode in each season.

Across the past two years a number of seasons have had the same top ranking episode which perhaps may make the game a little predictable.

So, I'm canvassing opinions for Prediction Game Two only.

    Do you think:-

    01) Run the game as it has been: Predict the top episode for each season.

    02) Expand the game and ask for the top TWO episodes from each season to be predicted.

    03) Change the game, pick a Season at random and ask players to predict all of the episodes in order.

    04) Ditch Prediction Game Two altogether and just have Game One (predict the Top Ten).

Views / opinions can be posted on here or sent to me via PM.

Funny how differently people see things. I like both those characters, as I like most of the characters, but there's no way either would have been in my top ten, probably not even my top 20!

I do have a definite preference though, as I've been nominating one of these characters to go for a while now!

I agree with Muttley, really pleased Jack made the top 2.

I agree with Muttley votes would have been:

    3 - River Song
    2 - Jack
    1 - Donna

I agree with Muttley - I think predicting the top 2 episodes would make it harder.

I'm going to have a lie down now...all this agreeing with Muttley. *shakes head* It just won't do.

Oh by the way. I cannot wait for the final video for this . :)

Joins Muttley in a very happy dance. I had to scroll down slowly as I wasn't sure he'd be there but yay Jack makes the final. Can anyone tell how I'll be voting yet?
Runs off to send Rita a pm.
