  There are many actors that are in multiple adverts. There was a women who appeared in the Halifax advert, in which the handle of her cup broke, who also appeared in other adverts too.
  
  The Trainline advert also features an actor who played a copper in Heartbeat too.

  There was an advert in the '80's for a bank which was supposed to be in a "real" branch, and they went to "talk to the Manager" who was the actor who played "Mr Meaker" in Rentaghost.
  
  There was a big advert campaign for something with a "will they / won't they couple", in the late '80's.
  Unfortunately just after the campaign started, the actor appeared as Colin's new Boyfriend in Eastenders, and they had the first gay kiss in a UK soap.
  Didn't see any more of those ads after that !!

  They were working on a Hollywood remake with Ben Stiller. Not sure if it is still going ahead.
  
  Sadly, Michael Staniforth who played Mr Meaker, died of an Aids related illness in 1987 when he was only 44.
